The Uttarakhand Co-operative Dairy Federation Ltd. (UCDF), also known as Uttarakhand Co-operative Dairy Federation, is an apex-level state federation of district Milk Co-operative Unions in the state of Uttarakhand. Established on March 12, 2001, under registration number 555, UCDF operates under the Uttarakhand State Co-operative Act. Its headquarters is located at Mangal Parao, Haldwani (Nainital). The organization was formed to successfully implement dairy programs across the state and to support the dairy sector in Uttarakhand.
History and Formation
UCDF was established as a successor to the Uttar Pradesh Cooperative Dairy Federation Ltd., following the creation of Uttarakhand as the 27th state of India on November 9, 2000. Since its inception, UCDF has been instrumental in organizing and streamlining the state’s dairy operations, ensuring the growth and development of milk cooperatives.

The organization operates under the registered brand name “AANCHAL,” which is widely recognized as the Dairy Cooperative Brand of Uttarakhand. AANCHAL represents quality, trust, and the dedication of the cooperative to support local farmers and provide high-quality dairy products to consumers.
